Dr. Julie Maniate, known as “Dr. Julie” to her patients, was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. She graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry in 2003 and went on to complete a hospital dental residency program at The Hospital for Sick Children (2004, Toronto, ON). Dr. Maniate returned to Winnipeg to serve as the Clinical Director of the Undergraduate Pediatric Dentistry program at the University of Manitoba teaching dental students and to work in private practice.

Driven by a passion for helping children achieve optimal oral health, Dr. Maniate completed a two-year graduate specialty program in Pediatric Dentistry at Yale-New Haven Hospital (2007, New Haven, CT). Upon completion of her studies, she returned to Winnipeg to help establish Children’s Dental World and to teach part-time at the University of Manitoba Graduate Pediatric Dental program. She also served on staff at the Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg Children’s Hospital.

With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, Dr. Julie has been providing compassionate care to children of all ages. She and her team are committed to creating a welcoming environment where children can feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits.

When not in the office, Dr. Julie loves spending time with her family, playing piano, singing, painting, playing board games and travelling.
